Overview

You can change your subscription plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, while downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Upgrades

How Upgrades Work

When you upgrade your plan:
  • Take effect: Immediately upon payment confirmation
  • Credits: You receive your new plan’s full monthly allocation right away
  • Previous credits: Previous monthly plan credits don’t carry forward
  • Purchased credits: Remain available and stack with your new plan credits
  • Billing: Starts immediately at the new monthly rate
  • Billing cycle: Resets to start from the upgrade date

Example: Upgrading from Plus to Pro

Current situation:
  • You’re on Plus (40 credits/month = 10 free + 30 Plus)
  • Today is the 15th of the month
  • You’ve used 25 credits, have 15 remaining
  • You upgrade to Pro on the 15th
What happens immediately:
  • Your 15 remaining Plus credits are forfeit
  • You immediately get 360 Pro credits (10 free + 350 Pro)
  • Your billing cycle resets to the 15th of each month
  • You’re charged 200 dollars today, then 200 dollars on the 15th of every month
  • Any purchased credits you had remain available
Timing tip: Upgrade early in your billing period to maximize value. If you upgrade at the end of your period, you’ll forfeit most of your existing credits.

Downgrades & Cancellations

How Downgrades Work

When you downgrade your plan or cancel:
  • Take effect: At the end of your current billing period
  • Credits: You keep your current plan’s credits until the billing period ends
  • Purchased credits: Remain available - they don’t expire with the downgrade
  • Billing: You continue to have access until the end of the paid period
  • Next period: New (lower) plan starts with reduced credits

Example: Downgrading from Pro to Plus

Current situation:
  • You’re on Pro (360 credits/month)
  • Today is January 15th
  • Your billing period ends January 31st
  • You have 200 credits remaining
  • You downgrade to Plus on January 15th
What happens:
  • You keep your 200 Pro credits through January 31st
  • You’re not charged again for Pro
  • On February 1st, you drop to Plus (40 credits/month)
  • You’re charged $20 on February 1st, then monthly
  • Any purchased credits you bought earlier remain available
Downgrades don’t take effect immediately. You retain access to your current plan until the end of your billing period.

How to Downgrade

1

Go to Settings → Billing

Navigate to the Billing page.
2

Click 'Change Plan'

Select the plan you want to downgrade to.
3

Confirm downgrade

Acknowledge that the change takes effect at the end of your current period.
4

Continue using current plan

You’ll keep your current plan until the billing period ends.

Cancellations

How Cancellations Work

Canceling your subscription works like a downgrade to the free Pay as you Go plan.
  • Take effect: At the end of your current billing period
  • Credits: You keep your current credits until the period ends
  • Purchased credits: Remain available for their full 1-year validity
  • Access: You retain access until the end of the paid period
  • Next period: You drop to Pay as you Go (10 free credits/month)

Example: Canceling Pro Plan

Current situation:
  • You’re on Pro (360 credits/month)
  • Your billing period ends in 10 days
  • You cancel today
What happens:
  • You keep Pro access for the remaining 10 days
  • You keep your remaining credits for 10 days
  • On day 11 (next billing period), you drop to Pay as you Go
  • You get 10 free credits/month going forward
  • Any purchased credits remain valid
Once you cancel, you won’t be charged again. If you want to resume your subscription later, you’ll need to upgrade again manually.

How to Cancel

1

Go to Settings → Billing

Navigate to the Billing page.
2

Click 'Cancel Subscription'

Find the cancellation option at the bottom of the Billing page.
3

Confirm cancellation

Acknowledge that cancellation takes effect at the end of your current period.
4

Continue using current plan

You’ll keep your current plan until the billing period ends.

Best Practices

Maximize value by upgrading early in your billing period. This minimizes forfeited credits.
If downgrading, do it late in your period after you’ve used most credits. You’ll keep access until period end anyway.
If you know you’ll downgrade but might need extra credits in the future, buy them before downgrading. They’ll remain available for 1 year.
Before upgrading, consider: if you’re 25 days into a 30-day period with 5 credits left, you’ll forfeit those 5 and pay the full month’s fee for the new plan. It might be worth waiting 5 days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, but it’s not cost-effective. You’ll pay the full month for the higher plan even if you downgrade the same day, because downgrades take effect at period end.
Before the downgrade takes effect (end of billing period), you can cancel the downgrade by upgrading again. After it takes effect, you’ll need to upgrade manually.
No. Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing period, so you get the full value of what you paid for. No refunds are issued.
There’s no pause option. You can cancel and return to Pay as you Go (10 free credits/month), then upgrade again when ready.
Your data remains in your account. You can still log in and view it on the Pay as you Go plan, but you’ll only have 10 credits/month for new actions.
